Bio:
Harbael; wise guardian: given by parents, Emarthar; honored friend: added by those in his codery (treat the ’ as and), Feraualfisyr=> Champion of the Holy Lightbringer
Born first of identical twins. His younger brother, Filrith, disliked the ease with which everything came to him, but it was truly is hard work that allowed him to excel. They were sent together to become Praetors. On graduation, Harbael continued to rise throughthe ranks eventually attaining the posistion oh Lord High Praetor; his brother grew tired of living in a rut of his own making and disappeared.
Eventaully Harbael met and married Hutas’Resar. They had a love-filled marriage, even haveing two children of their own. Ahkahna, who looked like her mother but had her father’s eyes and Amareuth who looked like her father but had her mother’s eyes.
It was several years before things went down hill for the couple. Beginning with the disappearance of their daughter Ahkahna, a spy stole the child away after a misunderstanding. If it hadn’t been for the two-year-old Amareuth, she might have left him then. But she hung on, even though he would come home with the edges of herasy on his lips and a haunted, sometimes tortured look on his features. This lasted for so many years, she would listen to what he had to say and dismiss it off hand. Once Amareuth was grown, they saw less and less of him.
This is when Harbael had uncovered much that he would rather that they not be considered in the knowlege of, it would have ultimately caused thier deaths. Then the unthinkable happened; Rumors of a merchant caravan from Nuelm, the leader of which seemed to bear an uncanny resmeblance to him. So he waited for them to reach the capitol, once they were there the caravan was haled at the gates for inspection. He had some of his most trusted retrieve the leader of the caravan and confiscate the goods. The rest of the group were held for questioning.
After he had heard what the jailors had to say aobut the trip, he went to see this elf, hoping beyond hope that his daughter had returned to him. It angered him that the first thing he had to do was have the door blown in. His suspicions were tickled even more when he was told to ask his right hand, Ilim, why that was. But even through his anger, he knew that this was not his daughter. She was much too young.
It struck him then. He was being blessed to see his granddaughter. He sat tiredly on the bed and was quite surprised when she came forward to lay her head in his lap. That was when he decided that he couldn’t bring himself to do what he had intended when he strode through the door. He let Falner know thruogh the crop to prepare to aid this girl in escape. It was this act that had him ex-communicated by the church and his face plastered all over the nation and in every embassy. He was a wanted man, on the run.
